Landscapes
I went to Cat Island in the Bahamas with my then-wife in June of 2022. I had kind of a terrible time, but the best memory I have from the trip is reading Bob Odenkirk’s autobiography. In one passage he describes having a “soul wind” or a “heart whisper” when he was drawn in a completely different direction than the one he was currently living. In the months after that trip when I painted this, I started moving in my own different direction.
This piece is made with acrylic, house paint, and gouache on 36x24x3 stretched canvas.Contact me for purchase information.
