I made this piece after a crush told me that she was happy to be alone forever. Aside from my attraction to this person, it made me really sad to think that she was not participating in the human experience, which requires putting yourself in emotional harm’s way time and again. We’re all driving towards the airplane that’s going to crash into us again and again, but really living means staying in the driver’s seat.

LIFE DRIVE is made with acrylic, house paint, gouache, and glow in the dark paint. Can't promise how much it will actually glow.
