Landscape painting of a car on fire, THE ACTION IS THE JUICE
Acrylic and gouache on stretched canvas

I used to belong to Dunn Lewis, a motorcycle club in DC run by my friends Mason and Laurel. One day, I went by to pick up a new battery for my old motorcycle and a car fire had just happened. I missed it. But Mason and Laurel got all kinds of photos, and I used those as the direct reference photos for this piece. My motorcycle is the red one. The text is from one of my favorite movies, Michael Mann’s Heat. The chaos of the back half of Heat reminded me of the street the shop was on where crazy shit happened all the time.

This piece is 30 inches tall by 40 inches wide with a 3 inch depth. Email me for purchase information.
