OPEN YOUR EYES is a collection of sculptures made specifically for the band Unsafe Space Garden during my stay in Portugal in June of 2023. I used hand tools to carve these pieces out of foam, and then painted them using house paint. I created these rapidly in the back yard of my AirBNB house, using sunlight to dry them quickly. Unsafe Space Garden will be using these pieces to support and upcoming live recording and video session.

This collection is six pieces in total: 3 big veiny eyes and 3 small veiny eyes.
