Landscapes
This piece is directly inspired by Lisbon's many mini marts, which are miniscule compared to anything else in the US. The attitude of the shopowners is a little cold to be as generous as possible. The awnings are colorful and often showcase products you can't even buy there. Other important details include sardines in the awning, as tinned fish is an important dietary staple, the house number on the outside (NICE), the dog off leash (many in Lisbon), and the cafe tables out front where people could be drinking a beer at any time of day.
